I just re-read the finished kit length, and at 60 inches more or less, it works out to five FEET!Dinner [dinner]

I just gotta get one of them.

I'll figure out where to put it after I've built it!

With best regards.

Before you get one, you might want to check out the other thread in this section.

I've got one! and it's exactly 4 feet 10 1/2 inches! It's pretty darn close to 5 feet!

The reviews have not been too encouraging! but- I'm going to have fun with it!

I'm one of those older modelers who is not too picky about fit, contour or shape errors, etc., etc., and so forth.  I can remember trying to build a Strombecker model of a P-51 Mustang, which required carving the fuselage to shape, carving blocks of wood to airfoil shape, sanding, and, get this: mix up your own glue from what looked like a flour-and-water paste affair. (I think it was powdered casein glue.) That was about 60 years ago, BTW. The test shots of the I-53 look good enough for me, and since I'm the only one to see it, most likely, I'm going to get one and do my best with it and have a ball.

YMMV.

With best regards to all.

"In The Woods"? I'm with you. My first model was the Strombecker P47.

I've got this thing in front of me, and all I can say is, that the review on Caswell was kind to it. At least the Bow planes weren't cast on, as it appears in the photos.
