I did plenty of image searches and also did the forum search here. I was just hoping perhaps we had a brown water sailor or two here who could give some firsthand knowledge of loadouts. My pet peeve in armor, my prime forum, is implausible loadouts. I know I could apply my personal experience with small boat ops (minimal) in the 90s but that would be different from this craft.

You might try the Search function, ther was a really nice build of an LSSC her eabout a year ago that really hit the "look" of one in use (marmite can and all).

As an aircraft history guy, I can only point out one thing. To mount a weapon on that boat requires a fair amount of maintenance and cleaning before returning to storage. I'd think that the miriad of weapons that the kit offers would be mounted a little selectively, and that might be worth looking into.

To start, remember the basics. Where the crew walk/step/grab. The under hull where it scrapes and grounds, etc. The kit stowed aboard will usually be worn...

Off the top of my head, that's the best I can do for now. Some good squids will surely be along soon to help out more.

Likin' what I'm seein' so far though, Stik!

I am working on Dragon's 1/35 LSSC. I have the base coat of green on and will be starting painting the weapons and detail items next. I have no idea about weathering this boat. Here are a few shots of hot it looks so far. these were taken with flash under bright flourescent lighting. The thin color areas in the cockpit do not show up like this under daylight conditions. anyways I need ideas for weathering and stowage, what and where, (aside from ammo cans) to put aboard. Any of you folks knowledgeable about this please let me know!
