Wolfp,

I had the same problem with my Fletcher. I decided to forego the book and downloaded numerous images off the internet. I discovered that not all Fletchers were rigged exactly the same, close, but not the same. The issue was in how the rigging ran aft of the mast, so I had to pick a design which I thought approximated the rigging on the ship I was modeling (DD658 - a square bridge Fletcher). Motion Models has very good pics of their custom built model DD's from which you can get a good idea of how to run rigging. I have no idea how accurate their rigging schemes are.

Rigging the Fletcher
Posted by Wolfp on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 9:36 PM

I am hoping someone can help me with a link for this.  I am coming down to the wire (no pun intended) with my 1/350 Fletcher and for the life of me cannot find a decent rigging plan.  It may be my search wildcards on google are jacked, but its become a frurstration point.  Does anyone have a link to a good rigging diagram.  Appreciate the assist ahead of time.
