Agreed; WEM has production problems and basic colors can be out of stock for long periods.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]and while you are at it, it pays to salt away a set of the other basics like deck blue, dark sea blue, navy blue etc.

Gearing is most likely a neutral haze... probably Navy Gray instead of Navy Blue as well.

Modelmaster Marine is out of production

PollyScale 5H Haze Gray is too lavender to my eye.   Yes, US Navy ships were painted in a series of purple-blue colors.

The only 'accurate' 5H Haze Gray is made by White Ensign Models.  It comes only in the 14ml tins (similar to Humbrol).

Testors Marine colors, Polly Scale, and White Ensigns, all make Haze Gray in their product lines.

I recently purchased the Dragon 1/350th "USS Gearing" and I cannot find suitable Haze Grey paint.  Would appreciate any help anyone could give me.  Thanks!
