This is a build from John Sykes. I want to thank him for sending these photos to me. The island and flightdeck is scratchbuilt and also the sponsons. A few photos.

Not too shabby! It is lacking detail, however. But, all in all, he did a really good job.

I've done some work on this ship and have a command ballcap (lucky me). There is statue of George in his WWII flightsuit in a "running to his plane" pose in the hangar bay. It is really a top notch ship.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Wow.  Every "next step' is only going to improve on that.

Last bits of PE; getting the airwin onboard; rigging, etc.  just every new thing will be a plus.

Nice CV build!

Yes, that "H" makes a huge difference. I wonder if one of her escorts will be the USS James Baker... ;-)

yes the name should be George H.W. Bush. But the build is outstanding total scratchbuilted flightdeck, scratchbuilted island that look like it came from the factory. Sponsons, raidar platforms and on and on. Man wish i had half the stuff he has in is hands.
