Proper color for a 1:700 modern U.S. Navy vessel?

I'm hopefully getting back to my ship soon. Before I do, I know that scale plays a role in the shade of paints one will want to use. What colors would be right for my purposes?

This is my first, and likely last, ship build.

In progress: Hasegawa P-51D/K (being built as a D), Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper 1275S, Testors Kaman H-43B Huskie (held up by lack of parts)

To be resumed sooner or later: Academy M151A2 with Eduard photo-etch

For modern USN, use the following Federal Standard colors:

Haze Gray: FS 36270 (26270 for scale effect)
Deck Gray: FS 36008 (26176 for scale effect)

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Thanks for the help. Also, what about the black and terra-cotta used below the waterline?

Any flat black will do for the boot topping stripe.

As for the anti-fouling red under the hull, you can do a search for the numerous threads in this forum on that topic. I mainly do 1/700 waterline, but for the few full hull models I've built, I have used a Floquil railroad color, Boxcar Red, No. 110074. Others use auto spray primer or something similar.
