Revell 1/144 German destroyer

Now, am I remembering wrong, but doesn't RG also have a 1/144 DD-445, as well as the Z-1?  I know the 1/72 is DD-445.

Before anyone gets too excited, Revell (nor anyone else) doesn't make a 1/72 scale Fletcher!

Well, that is the bane of we who are square-bridge fans.

I have a special place in my heart for the post-war Fletchers, especially the Reserve Unit ones; so the lack of square bridge components is a distinct pain.  Now, that might just be a 'reflex' on my part for all the WWII hulls and configurations out there.

Its still a round-bridge, and it still won't get you any closer to a mid-to-late war square-bridge Fletcher.  

It has 4 five-inch gun houses as opposed to the US Navy's 5.   The 3-inch (76.2 mm) twin guns may be suitable if you're hoping to do a post-war FRAM.  Still no quad 40s

It is a Fletcher.  The West German Navy received several Fletchers after the war.   They received modifications which made them unlike the US Navy's war-service ships.
