Very nice! Have you considered doing a current model of it in Wilmington?

I have one close to the way it is there, although the Real one( today) is painted in Dazzle but the same on both sides, and that is not how she was in war time ie, both sides different. I need to take more photos of her before posting. That particular model I built to light up inside so I have to disconnect her first and that ain't fun, just gotta hook her back then. But it will happen soon.

Hey Bill, Yeah she is a little heavy, she was my first really with the 1/350s, and my first waterline. Mostly though I paint (weather) a lot of my stuff to be shot and printed in B&W with a slight sepia. so the rust is not as noticeable. But I think I did better on my Missouri also posted in here, although I got the top of the con wrong. At any rate thanks for the Crit.

Nice build!  My only criticism is that the weathering looks much too heavy, especially in the superstructure.

This is By Far my favorite Ship in the Whole Wide World, I've built 5 of them so far. This particular one is my favorite of them all, and the first waterline model I ever built. I used Lions Roar, and Eduard PE. The turrets are from Yankee Modelworks. The water is made from Liquatex Gel medium.

Enjoy, James
