yeah here is an article that is here on the website.

also alot of build logs have individual weathering techniques if you are looking for something specific.  There is a build going on in the model auto's section on a rusted model T that is amazing. you might want to check that one out as well. check out around page 4.

hope that helps.

Looking for Weathering and Detailing Ideas for Ships
Posted by Danny Boy on Sunday, December 13, 2009 6:27 PM

hi guys,

Ive been modelling for some time. I like doing cars and ships mostly.

What i am new to ius the concept of realistic painting and weathering techniques. Im not after anything specific as i do not know enough about weathering. I was after a generic database, website or even an article on this website that will give me some general ideas of what i can do to take my modelling to the next level.

Is there somewhere you can point me to?

Thanks

Daniel
