Tim is right, the best route to go is with the WEM paints.

FS595a is a modern standard for colors that are utilized by our current military and other federal agencies. Although there's alot of colors in the fan deck, most of the WW2 colors, especially those that are non-US just aren't there.

I have the 1927 Standard Munsell codes for the German RAL colors, but unless you have access to a 1927 (it must be the 1927 version, not the 1943 version) Munsell book of color, they're meaningless. No one has effectively converted RAL into current Munsell or Meuthen colors, so...

Your eyeballs are probably bleeding by now, huh?

Get the WEM paints, it's great stuff, and even though they're shipping from the UK, it generally takes 3-5 working days to get it in the mail.

You can order the proper shades from White Ensign Models (in England). They are enamel, work well with the MM thinner. I've bought them from a company here in the states, and from them directly. I recommend buying from them. I had my paints in less than 2 weeks. The US company took 2 months. there web site is: www.whiteensignmodels.com
