Bill - White Ensign models has all three ( Fiume, Pola, and Zara) 1/400 cruisers listed for sale.

The price was 27 pounds? euros?  I'm not sure which.

I remember back in 1979, when I was stationed in La Maddelena, Sardinia, Italy, I picked up the Tauro 1/400 ZARA.  It was a nice kit that got stolen during a Navy PCS move.  Does anyone know of a way to get another?

Hello and happy new year everybody! A few months back there was a thread of two modelers who were building a couple Italian cruisers - the Pola and the Gorizia if I recall correctly - and it was just the motivation I needed to pull this kit out of the stash.

I tried to find the original thread but it is sadly gone from the new forum. Anyway, I finally got a new camera and I am still learning how to use it - these photos are the result. She's still a work in progress - maybe about 75% done but getting there! I hope this works -

Mark

P.S. - Would the guys who did those beauties please re-post? I would love to see 'em again!
