the afv club is a nice kit, but i think it is a more recent version of that ship, after it was redesignated a ffg.. a friend of mine served on the truett in the seventies, when it was an escort destroyer, and i build the afv out of the box for him. he reckognized it and enjoyed it but also pointed out the differences between it and his ship.

As noted in the above response, White Ensign makes a Knox-class frigate in 1:350 scale resin & brass. In addition, Iron Shipwright offers a Knox also in 1:350 scale resin & brass. Nothing in that scale in plastic.

In 1:700 scale, AFV Club sells a Knox in injected styrene. Corsair Armada makes one in resin & brass
