Hi all... just a quick one for the history buffs amongst you:
From the info i have seen sofar most Gato class subs would have been painted in the measure 9 paintscheme for most of the war with some being repainted in the measure 32 scheme at wars end.
Antifouling paints would have been usually black using whatever was at hand at the moment the sub was in port for maintenance or so i read... Since a lot of surface vessels had the familiar red or brick red antifouling paint i was wondering how likely it could have been for a (measure 9) Gato to have the red antifouling paint applied?
