Coast Guard Modeling Subjects
Posted by oceano75 on Friday, January 22, 2010 9:36 PM

If there is anyone out there interested in building models of US Coast Guard subjects, I have built a new website describing the heritage of the Service and identifying as many modeling subjects as I can find.  I invite you to visit the site and please provide comments.

Thanks!

Guess it would have helped to include the website, huh?

Did a couple of posts somehow get deleted from this thread?  I thought I made one yesterday, and one - which I think was from this thread - got forwarded to my e-mail.  Unfortunately I deleted it from there, so I can't be sure.  But it looks like something funny is going on.  Probably some sort of computer glitch - maybe at my end.

I wish someone would do a plastic kit of the WW2 83 foot patrol boat and a plastic kit of the POINT Class cutter ..............

Nope, I thought so too, but there is also a post under aircraft that has those posts.

Ok, it took me forever and I know wveryone has been waiting breathlessly...

I have linked pictures of my completed models into the site.  I also updated it with models that others pointed out that I missed.

Scale Shipyard also has some nice looking resin accessories.  I just bookmarked it.  These hulls will be in my next update.

Thansk!

What is your Coast Guard connection?
