Landing Craft

Hmmmm ... that's a toughie. If you wanted some LVTs, JAG has you covered, http://www.jagcollective.com/LVT.htm, as far as LCMs, Loose Cannon Productions has them, they have very nice LCVPs as well, http://home.earthlink.net/~loosecannonproductions/index-amphib.html.

i already have the LVT's, as well as some HMMWV's and M923's. Do you know what model LCM's those are??

if you can find the now out-of-production set,  Dragon made a Marine amphib set.  Rajen's Kit List sez

The Revell 1/720 Tarawa LHA-1 that was just reissued had a couple LCU type craft for the stern well IIRC when it was originally issued.

Yup, the reissue comes with two landing craft, cant ID the type, each with a tank (probably M60 type)

hard to tell the type, looks like an early LCU, something before the LCU 1600 class (i can tell since it doesn't have a stern ramp). i'll probably end up getting a few of the loose cannon LCT-6's, i like the general design and will likely modify them to suit my needs

You can thank Hugh at Loose Cannon for their profusion of all things to do with amphibious, I think one of his goals in life is to make a model of every kind of landing craft used since World War I before he dies.
