I don,t know what you mean by (Cutboard). If you mean heavy artists paper then it,s not as hard as you think. First off, do you have a set of plans? Second, what scale do you want to do this in? The idea of doing a ship in paper is good, but, if you,ve never done one before ,I would recommend doing one first so you will see what you are getting into. If you then feel you want to continue ,I recommend drawing up the ship and it,s parts on paper.Make two copies in the size you want. Then take one set and use it as patterns and build her out of sheet plastic. Build the paper one right beside the plastic, actually a little ahead, then you,ll begin to see your ship take shape on your bench. I wish you luck and if you need help,I will help where I can.Just give the old tankerbuilder a scream.actually a shout is better. You may e-mail me thru this website. tankerbuilder
