I know this may be a long shot, but.....
I have some Pollyscale paint in the Haze Gray 5-H, Ocean Gary 5-0, Navy Blue 5-N and Weather Deck Blue. The problem is I have had clogging issues with my airbrush and rather prefer using Tamiya's since the vast majority of my paints are such. So I got to wondering if anyone, anywheres, had ever thought to work out paint ratios for the USN WW2 colors. A cursory check shows me that XF-50, Field Blue, has a very uncanny resemblance to Weather Deck Blue, perhaps a SLIGHT touch greyer, but probably passable enough not to notice unless one is using paint chips. I took a look at the colors suggested in the Tamiya Flecther class I have, and their suggestion for a ratio of Hull Red and Field Blue of 1:2 was horrible...almost like a grey brown. I flipped through the Tamiys gray's that I have (of which I have their entire gray color line) and do not notice anything passable for the others, and nothing else in the blue's (again, of which I have every of the color line). I know I can always do my own testing, but if someone has already done the work it would save considerable time, effort....oh yeah, and save in wasted paint.

P.S. And if anyone has any ratios for the other more obscure USN WW2 colors besides the 4 listed I would be greatful for those too. Even though I may never find myself in a need of Light Gray 5-L, Thayer Blue 5-B, etc. etc. etc. you just never know.
