Julian - Wow! Coming from you that is praise indeed! Your Tirpitz build is very inspiring and I am having a good time watching it come together. I have found that PE is equally challenging in 1/350 or 1/700 - in my case the only difference is I need to use a head visor just to see clearly the tiny PE parts.

Thanks again for your encouragement,

Mark

P.S. When are you gonna post more pics? MORE PICS!  MORE PICS!

The PE work would be fantastic for 1/350th but this is 1/700th ! How do you do this Mark, it really is mind blowing. A really excellent build ! YesYes

jetmodeler - Thanks for the kind words!  Yep, she's 1/700 - ( I really have a healthy respect for guys who model in that scale!)  I've seen stuff that I thought the same as you - no way that's 1/700!  I like the larger scales myself, but this build was a request and I ain't gonna turn down any kit.

Man o man I LOVE modeling!!!!

Thanks again,

Mark

Hi Guys! Its been a while since I posted something, but I have been building almost every day. (I have to... it keeps me sane!)  Anyway, I put my 1/400 Tauro RN Fiume aside to build this little BB - the USS Massachusetts in 1/700 scale. Not my scale of choice,  tiny, tiny parts that don't go well with my eyesight, but still a lot fun!  Its for my friends at AAA Hobbies.

She's built OOTB except for the rigging. Thanks for lookin' and, as always,  comments,  criticisms , suggestions or attaboys wanted and appreciated !  You guys have  the best eyes for that and I do learn a lot from reading your posts - although I do lurk more than join in - (something I am gonna change).

Thanks again

Mark
