If you're comfortable with enamels, you could use White Ensign's Colourcoats line.  They're very good matches ..............

Great looking build, OgreJohn!!

This is a good kit. I built the same kit a few years ago. I loved it.

The ones I've seen built were usually the 1/35 scale Big brother of the S-100 series Schnellboots

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

Manstein, Thank you very much! This one had been collecting dust in the stash for a while. They are pretty nice kits with good fit and little flash. When you get yours done you need to change your name to Raeder's Revenge. I mean, who ever heard of a Field Marshal being interested in floating things? Smile

Garth, Thank you very much! Yeah, I'm pretty happy how it turned out, especially after all the trouble I had with the MM Acryl paint. Dead

Very cool...nice to see someone actually build one of these instead of just talking about it...I have one in the stash but it is the version with the quad AAA on the back...

Julian, Thank you very much! Your 1/35 S-100 is awesome!

Mikeym, Thank you very much. I've got another one that I'm hoping to really doll up with the full Griffon PE set.

Oh! I have that exact same kit and the Flakvierling38 equipped kit as well.  I think at least one or both will be mine layers as I ordered the CMK mine set from Great Models.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

Looks really good for an OOB. Like the subtle weathering. Nice job.

I built this for the stash group build here at FSM. It's completely out of the box, painted with MM Acryl (lot's of trouble with that), Tamiya and Citadel paints.
