  • Zuiho...

  • Isn't Academy coming out with a 1/350 Scharnhorst? Is that supposed to be any good?

And I think the quality (and variety) of Trumpeter is really getting excellent. They are making models that I never would have dreamed would be on the market in 1/350.

  • Dragon is bringing out the Scharnhorst in 1-350. Revell is also bringing out a 1-350 Modern US Assault Carrier. A new Nagato has been released in the Leyte Gulf fit. Others that have come out include a 1-350 Yahagi by I think Fujimi. Aoshima has brought a 1-350 3 Funnelled Japanese light Cruiser also. It has also been mentioned that Academy are to bring out a 1-350 Warspite. Have to get a bigger House if I want all of them.

  • In addition to the Scharnhorst, Academy has announced the following in 1/350th:

    • Z-39 German WWII Destroyer (For your Scharnhorsts, Bismarcks, Tirpitz's, et al...)
    • CVL-22 Independence
    • BB-38 Pennsylvania 1945

The CAD on the last two is still being worked on, no release date on any of them yet, but hopefully the first two before the end of the year.
