That is a nice little rig.The idea of running around in one years ago is scary, but I did it with my little super 10 hanging on the transome. When I built my model I did the smooth surfaces on the deck and sponsons white. The planked area I did with three colors of wood browns with a good heavy clearcoat. The upper housing on mine was red and so on. I don,t even remember if it had any decals. All I have left of that  one is the lower hull and the driver! I hope you find them if there were any decals.     tankerbuilder

Yes, I believe it is a Super 10, (sure looks like one anyway). I will assume kids mostly drove these things, can't imagine anyone past the age of 18 would have the knee's for it! Thanks to all for the kind words! and comments Cheers! Dave.

Oh my goodness. Can't remember how many years ago I had one of those. Nowhere near as neat as yours. Nice clean build.

Neat little model! But oh, man, that looks painful to drive.

Looks like a Kiekheafer Super Ten on the back of that little rig.  Used to have one of those back in the 70's on a boat about that size.  The lower unit was direct drive, no reverse or neutral.  Once you strarted the motor you were moving.  I used to drive mine in a catcher stance to keep my knees from getting hammered in the chop.

Neat build, sure brings back a lot of memories.

P.S.  It went like a bat out of hell.

While I'm trying to find decals for this model, I thought I'd share some pics of the finished model. Hope you like it! Dave.
