Bluenose II Instructions
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, January 8, 2004 9:15 AM
Hello;
I have purchased an Artesania Latina Bluenose II kit for my father for Christmas and he's anxious to start, but it came without english instructions. (Yikes!) Does anyone know where I can download or order instructions for this kit? I have tried to find a site or contact information for the company but no luck.
The hobby store says it will take many weeks to order the English version I need and were not very helpful. This is my father's first tall ship model and I want it to be a good experience for him.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks and Happy New Year!

What language are they in now?

Just a suggestion, but as we have modelers in the forum from many countries, perhaps one of them could translate them for you. Being modelers themselves they would know modeling terms, and would be more accurate to the subject matter than someone who is not a modeler.

Try changing your topic title to something like
"Need help translating instructions: ***** to english"
or something like that (with the *****'s replaced by the original language).

May be to much to ask of someone, though.

Just a thought.

Drimna:
Artesania is hard to locate on the web, however you can contact them directly:

Artesania Latina S.A.
Poligno Industrial C/.
Narciso Monturiol 18
08339 Vilassar de Dalt
Barcelona
Spain

Call: 343 753 29 11
Fax: 343 753 24 94

I suggest you have someone Spanish speaking make the call or write the letter, and be sure to tell them you are not happy with your supplier as well.
Good luck,
Bruce
