just be patient and stalk one of these kits on eBay and eventually you will be able to buy one for between $25-35.  They are always for sale on eBay.  WS

I had a few moments and was able to check the information in Siegfried Breyer's "Battleships and Battlecruisers, 1905-1970" and it appears that there were very few differences between the four ships in this class (Konig, Grosser Kurfurst, Markgraf, and Kronprinz) with the following notes:

1 - All ships, with the exception of Kronprinz, carried the thin pole mast with a small spotting top and top mast forward until 1917

2 - The uppermost (admiral's) bridge was carried only in Konig, and from 1917 in Markgraf.

The sale price on the Konig an Grosser Kurfurst is a great deal.  The kits are virtually the same so it really doesn't matter that much which one you buy.  There are some minor fit issues with the kit but nothing that would cause anybody with plastic kit experience to pull out their hair.   There are some really good after market brass sets for these kits.  Take a look at the detail kits from White Ensign Models.  Oh, and don't forget to pick up a set of brass main battery gun barrels, while the plastic kit ones aren't atrocious the brass one just look so much better.  You can find both at Freetime Hobbies website.   WS

Practically the same models Don. I bought the Konig at a model meeting in Zaandam this year. Nice model and even better if you add PE, of whch several sets are available from Tom's modelworks, White Ensign models etc. If the price is right go for it.
