I originally thought they were firefighting nozzels untill I reached that stage in the build and saw they are 20mm guns.

I'm looking for some painting tips on the front bridge and funnel etc when it comes to the painting of the cammo, what is the best way to go around this to make it look good? I'm struggling to see how the lines flow up the ship and scared I mess it up.

Has anyone ever noticed that every plastic manufacturer when it comes to the single mount 20mm that they look nothing like a 20mm cannon on ships from 1/200 on to 1/700 scale. they just look like rail mounted firefighting nozzels on ships

Having built models as a kid, I decided I wanted to build some again during the holiday. After two small models I decided I'll build the Tirpitz. So far I have finished the bottom section of the hull (no photo's) and some of the front, back and center deck pieces.
