Taubman Plans Service in New Jersey offers a plan in 1/32 scale. I don't know how good they are but the low cost (US$3.00) tells me they are probbly rather rudimentary. See their website www.taubmansonline.com

The Skulski book, Anatomy of the Ship, has plans.

Tappie, I tried to send those scans of the Yamato instructions to you, but they kept getting bounced back. Do you still need them?? I still have the Zip file here on the hard drive.

I have this book Jeff. It's a GREAT book.
Tim H. "If your alone and you meet a Zero, run like hell. Your outnumbered" Capt Joe Foss, Guadalcanal 1942 Real Trucks have 18 wheels. Anything less is just a Toy! I am in shape. Hey, Round is a shape! Reality is a concept not yet proven.

Thank you to Jeff for supplying the plans. I really appreciate it. With guys like Jeff out there, it sure makes a world of difference to modelers like me.

Keep it up.

To the other guys, I appreciate the help. Unfortunately getting hold of the books you mention seem to be a mission here in Africa.

Regards to all.

When I'm finished with my restoration project, I will post some pictures.

Glad to be of help...

Remember those lines from Conan...There comes a time when the gold loses its luster, when the diamonds lose their glitter...?

That's about it...I can build just so much of anything, before it starts to get boring. It's nice to be able to help folks who may not have access to all the research crap I have laying around. As long as somebody makes a simple request (can you cast me 32 copies of a quad 40mm?? I can't pay you, but I'd be grateful...Yup, someone asked me) I'm more than happy to help out whenever I can. Most of the time, I'm at the office and don't have access to alot of this intel, so some of it comes from memory.

Take it for what it's worth :-)

Good luck on your project!!

Jeff
