I bought a revell/monagram 1:542 model at a garage sale. The box had been opened and just barely started obvousily by a kid. The problem i'm having is the instructions are missing and about half the parts are off the sprues. Plus i have never built a ship model before as i mainly do car models. It was cheap only 5 bucks so i figured why not. If anyone can help that would be of great help. Tried on internet already but dont want to pay if i dont have to.
5 bucks?? That's a great steal,man. I hope I can got it so cheaply..
I checked on Revell's web site, http://www.revell.com/support/instructions.html, to see if the instructions for the Saratoga were posted, but didn't see them. Your best bet may be to contact Revell customer support and ask them for a copy of the instructions.
Wasn't the Revell Saratoga a reboxing of their Forrestal kit? If so, you could look for those instructions, too.

checked both sites(us & germany) & not there. i'll see if i still have my instructions as i have 2 of those carriers but after all the moves i've done, don't know if still have them.
I have the Revell 1:542 kit of the Forrestal CVA 59, essentially the same kit I bought on E-Bay several years ago, still in box with instructions. I'll scan them in and e-mail to you if you choose to put your e-mail address on the forum.
