The "white waves" were too much. Now it is better :)

Love it, its like 10,000% better than the one that was done as the review in FSM a few months back(I still flinch that they used a build like that as a review) . There is one very obvious issue. from the bow waves she making some speed but she still has her anchor out? If it was for the major contradiction, great. PS loved the night/moonlit pic

Ahh, ship to ship refueling, now I understand.

Maybe a plaque stating name of ship and saying that she is currentley undergoing ship to ship refueling?

I am interested in knowing what material you used for the water and the waves and what type of paint you used. I really liked the way you staged the ship in its surroundings.

Great job

Hi, Jack

Do you speak German?  :) Because, my English is far from perfect. But, I will try it:

Document: Hard plastic. Stocker tooth form the gentle wave:

Watercolor paper glue:

Hull draw on the paper:

Primer:

With a brush to paint different colors of blue and green:

Paint the wave direction:

Acrylic gel on it:

Ship with white glue on it and make everything tight. Everything now has to cure for several hours. Then paint with various colors of blue and green:

These colors I needed:

Then the waves are painted with white oil paint. The bow wave is made with a little tumble fluff.

Please, There is no need for you to apologize for your English. I am able to understand you very well. Thank you for posting the pictures of you Graf Spee as you worked on it. I hve many ship models but have never tried a display like you have done. It will give me something to try sometime this winter when I can not work outside.

Thank you!

It's funny, I got the refueling hose right away, because of all the crewmen grouped around it! What threw me off was the dummy smokestack, I had to ponder that for a minute before I figured it out. Well done, and a very nice-looking display.

Very nicely done! I wonder what figures that you used, are they Fujimi's? Being 3 dimensional I think they look better than 2 dimensional PE figures from Eduard.
