I just saw this announcement from Hobby Boss. They are coming out with the Gato class submarine in 1/350 scale. It will certainly be a welcome to our U-boats and I boats. Cant wait to get my hands on them.

AFV Club was showing their new 1:350 scale as-launched Gato at the IPMS Nationals back in August.   If past performance is any indication the AFV Club offering may be better than something from Hobby Boss.

According to the man at the table it should be available within the next month or so (end-of-year time frame).  They guy also indicated that there were other variants in the pipeline
