Garth, according to Shipcamouflage.com, Measure 21 consists of Navy Gray, 5-N, for all vertical surfaces, with no exceptions. Dark Gray 20(20-B) is used for all horizontal surfaces. Hope this helps.

I've read that the USCGC Escanaba is an Owasco class. You might want to try looking for Escanba pictures as well.  Maybe between the two you can find what you are looking for.

Also take a look at this link.

Good luck

USCGC Owasco

Hello All,

Could someone please help me?  I'm having a model of the USCGC Owasco (WPG-39) in 1945 built for me.

I've got one photo of her (from off her port bow), but I would like one of her in profile (1945).

John Snyder has told me that she was either in Ms.14 overall 5-O with 20-B decks, or Ms.21.  Can anyone tell what colors made up Ms. 21?

Can anyone help me with the photos?

Thanks,

Garth
