You may want to investigate the products in the Profile Morskie/AJ Press line

http://profilemorskie.home.pl/Profile_1a.htm

These are some very nice and complete reference books,  generally on one subject (as opposed to a Squadron Inaction book which may cover several classes.    The text is in Polish,  but the photos and drawings are pretty much self explanatory.   Some in their series have English photo captions.

Thanks for the info! Specifically, I'm working on a model of the Hatsuharu. I have tried Wikipedia, but the pictures aren't of great quality. I'll definitely take a look, however, at Combined Fleet. Thanks again!

A little more info on what specifically you are after would help. I echo Tracy on Combined Fleet, and you can always try Wikipedia for a specific ship, or failing that, one of the sister ships in that class, you might get lucky.

I use the Combined Fleet Destroyer page as well as the TROMs (Tabular Records of Movement) on their Long Lancers section. NavWeaps also has a Japanese section that may be of some use to you.

Hi. Does anyone know of any good, decent or just usable references for WWII Japanese destroyers?
