Help needed with 1/350 Titanic - Mast measures

While I'm no Titanic expert, I do know there's a ton of written reference material out there about the ship, and getting that detail shouldn't be a big deal.  Or maybe somebody here will just have the same kit and can give you specific detail on the parts.

Meanwhile, it sounds to me like your friend isn't experienced enough to tell a wonderfully made part from one that's poorly done.  If you just 'eyeballed' the length, do you think s/he'd notice?

There are some plans there which will provide you the information you're requesting on scaling some  replacement masts.

You can also review their assessment of the correct paints so that you can replace the house paint used on the model.

I have that same kit sitting on a shelf waiting for me to get back to building.  It was my first attempt at a large scale ship and I am sorry to say that it kicked my rear so bad that I put it up and haven’t gotten back to it.  Not that it is a bad kit, far from it, that is a great kit.  All that aside when I was doing research for the build I came across possibly the most detailed and crazy website dedicated to modeling the Titanic.  I don't know if they have the info you need or not but it is an amazing wealth of all things Titanic and has some good links to other sites.  The website is:
