I am going to be building the Trumpeter 1:700 Saratoga as in the 1930s. When did the colorful deck crew garb (colors depicting job) come into use? Was it used in the '30s? I intend to put figures on the model. A carrier just has so many people out working that a carrier with no crew but planes spotted on deck looks funny to me.
