Great to see the Airfix 'Lusty' selling on your side of the pond, even at discounted prices. If airfix can shift RN ships in the US then us modellers over here might stand a chance of getting some more of our wish-list ships moulded in the future!

Well I personally love RN subjects. And since Airfix is doing them at such great prices I can't say no. The hobby shop owner said that I picked up the last kit of his batch of "Lusty's". Everything in his shop was on sale for an end of the year sale so it was not just a clear out the big stuff or the shelf sitters. It was just a case of opportunity meets ability. I snatched up the "T" class SSN as soon as it was available here. And I see that Airfix has announced a 1/350 Type 85 Destroyer for this year.  I would really love to see Airfix produce some Falklands era RN subjects: Type 42 Destroyer; Type 21 Frigate; County Class Destroyer; Churchill ClassSubmarine...one can wish...
