You can't go wrong with the Revell or the Tamiya 1/350 scale or the Dragon 1/700 scale.

700th...just ordered the Dragon "Premium" kit w/ new moldings and a very large PE fret---it was between that and the Trump...then I saw ROG just came out w/ a new one..

Revell's Germany Tirpitz 1:350 - CAD new tooling, best Tirpitz kit on the market at the moment.

Have'nt any information on 1:700 kits.

I wonder if the ROG 1/700th is considered better than the Dragon (new Premium) or Trump 700th offering...???  The World Wonders...

RoG kit not the earth shattering release people thought it was going to be (actually as soon as people saw the test shots..) and not the best value. But, at the end of the day it depends on how accuracy matters to the modeler. If you are don't do ships much, I'd say Dragon premium kit is the best value for money as it comes with the bare essential PE.

Though I wonder who makes paint masks for the Tirpitz's complicated camo scheme?
