                        I ordered the Revell U-boat on 11/3/2003 from Hobbylinc at $16.90. I have checked twice a week on my order status since November - and now after checking today (1/19/2004) the price on my order is $37.19 per item.

                        I still have the original e-mail from Hobbylinc confirming my order and price - I hope this is enough to get the item at that price from HobbyLinc.

                        Is anyone else who is waiting for this item from Hobbylinc experiencing the same change in price on their order?

                        I suggest you e-mail them. I think you will find that most on-line
                        places have a "disclaimer" that indicates that prices are subject
                        to change without notice, or something to that effect.

                        I have one on pre-order from another place for $41.65.
                        If it does jump up a lot more than that (as rumor has it),
                        I will probably cancel it.

                        I pre-ordered mine from Hobbylink too, and that price sounds about right (I ordered mine in dec). I have since gotten an update from them saying they expect to get them in on March 10th. What a nice B-day present that would be.
