USS Texas BB 35

Anyone who would be involved in such a project wouldn't speak about it. I know of one manufacturer who doesn't have one on the ways....

I just know that the ISW 1/350 kit is fantastic!  It is well worth the price.

Thanks Tracy for the reply.  And I'm assuming you are referring to Dragon. Ha! That is actually a disappointment to me because I would like to see Dragon produce that kit. And I understand that someone involved in those types of projects would not speak about it. I was just hoping that a drinking buddy of that someone might say something.

Anyways, if someone does hear about something, I would love to hear it.

Thanks for your reply also. I think I may do the ISW kit. How well does that kit go together? Excessive trimming or pour plugs? I really want to make sure that this is a good deal before I drop $300 plus P/E. But by all accounts its an excellent kit.

Fit is excellent, detail is exquisite, and the parts replacement policy is for life (no questions asked!).  The hardest part was to trim the plugs from under the hull, but it really presented no difficulties.  I will buy ISW again!

Photoetch is included in the basic purchase price of the kit.   No need to make the afternarket purchase unless you desire to upgrade suitable kit parts to high-detail items.

Most resin kits now contain photoetch parts as part of the basic kit.    A couple of the European manufacturers (HP Models, ModelKrak) do not contain PE and you must purchase aftermarket to complete.

ISW also produces an impressive range of WWI capital ships and predreadnoughts.  I am interested in their USS Connecticut.  And, EdGrune is right . . . ISW provides complete photoetch parts in its kits. Their fit is quite good.
