Cool. I have the Typhoon and Alfa from the Soviets and Los Angeles class and Ohio from the US.

I think that my hang up with the hull seams is that I went in thinking ship construction and ended up building aircraft of sorts.

Those two of the Kilo and Alfa are the only completed subs I have in my fleet. That shoud change by the end of this week.Wink A couple NATO boats are almost done.

I dont find any difference between cleaning up the seams on sub hulls and aircraft fuselages. Sand till cleaned up, then rescribe any lost detail.

Man, I hand glued the hull halves in small 1/2" sections and still wound up with a nasty seam that took way too long to clean up. Do you have any pics of your sub fleet?

I took a couple better shots of my Alfa today, and then also posed her here with my recently completed Bronco 1/350 Kilo class SSK for a pair of Russkie subs...

The Russians are coming!Surprise

I finally finished this boat. What could and should have been a quick project ended up taking far longer than intended due to getting sidelined and issues had during the finishing process. Certainly not my best work, but at least it's done now. And a good learning build for any future subs. One really cant go wrong with the basic build, but the decals need special attention to work properly on some. Otherwise one will have to hand paint certain markings which is what I ended up doing.
