Does anyone know of any kits for the early carrier dubbed the Pennsylvania? I think it would be great looking.

Niko Models of Poland made a 1:700 scale resin & brass pre-WWI armored cruiser class - if not the Pennsylvania herself, close enough to convert.

Iron Shipwright makes a 1:350 scale resin & brass kit of the South Dakota which is the same class as the Pennsylvania.

Neither is in the Ely flight test configuration.    You will need to undertake some scratchbuilding to add the deck and support bents

ModelKrak of Poland also makes a resin kit of the class.    ModelKrak kits are not as nice as Niko ones,  they're a bit rougher, and do not contain photoetched brass and brass barrels which are standard in the Niko kit.
