I too, would love to see one of these in plastic!

Didn't a scratch build of the Wolverine appear in FSM?

Not in the forseeable future.   The Wolverine and sister Sable, while similar, are different enough that the model would be a one-off.    The manufacturer wouldn't be able to capitalize on multiple releases under different names.    And, like it or not -- it was a non-combatant.   Most modelers seem to want the biggest, baddest, most fierce fighting subject.   Trainers of any kind don't draw the respect they deserve.

You'll likely see one in resin before you ever see one in plastic.   An associate of mine has a master and the brass is drawn.  However he has not been able to successfully (economically) cast the kit with the wide undercut sponsons.
