I recently bought the Tamiya 1/350 IJN Yamato kit and discovered it is model TAM78002 and from what I've read it's the motorized version.  Model TAM78014 is the later released display version of the Yamato.

My question is this:  Are there any differences between these two versions besides the motorized feature?  Are the parts bewteen the two from the same molds, etc?  That's what I'm looking for mainly.   

I want to get a couple detail sets for this kit, the Lion Roar and a couple others, and just want to be sure they fit this kit too.

No difference except the motorization.   Tam put the kit in a new box, with a new item number and a new increased price tag, and hoped no one would notice.
