1:350 Hornet to Enterprise
Posted by Spelunko Bob on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 10:30 AM

Simple and direct.

All I want is an Enterprise at 1:;350 scale. Era is not important. Pre-refit or after.

If I buy the Trumpeter Hornet and then get the island conversion kit, is that all I need? or do I also need to buy the extra airwings? I am planning on buying the photoetch, but which to chose.

Overall, I would prefer her prior to the refit. IN this case: What do I need and should use as details to the ship and airwings.

Current build: Heller's Pamir. Oooooh Yeeehhh. Stick out tongue

Check with Nautilus Models for conversion sets.  They offer the correct island, AA fit, and flight deck.  The other option is to buy  the Enterprise from Yankee Modelworks in resin and brass, but you're looking at an $800.00 ship model!
