Thanks msfob, that helps out a lot. Looks like quite the job but I'm willing to give it a try.

Iron Shipwrights has a 1/350 resin kit of the Barnegat class, http://ironshipwrights.com/ships_350.html, item 4-121. It's listed as in stock. Several have been built at modelwarships.com, including one in the paint scheme you're looking for, http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery/cv/avp-38/350-cm/cm-index.html, as the Duxbury Bay in her 1952-53 configuration.

Looking for the USS Greenwich Bay

Hey All,

Any of you guys know where I could find a model of the USS Greenwich Bay (AVP 41) or the sister ship USS Duxbury Bay (AVP 38) ? I served aboard the Greenwich Bay way back in the 60's and would like to build it for old times sake. We called her the Galloping Ghost of the Arabian Coast because she was painted white and ported in Bahrain. Any help finding either one would be appreciated. Scale does not matter.
