Bocks Suv

I got the 1/72 Eduard P-E set for the Schnellboot but the instructions dont mention where the long thin studded tread strips go. I assume that's what they are; grippy tread for busy, worn or dangerous walking areas. But if anyone knows where these thin strips go for sure, I'd appreciate links or advice.

PS -I'm actually building the Airfix early version so not all the parts will be used; half if I'm lucky, even taking liberties with design and Kreigsmarine history. If someone needs P-E parts from this set, let me know and I can set them aside.

I believe those tread pieces are for the steps going to the raised deck with the Flak38 Zweiling gun.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/
