La Reale de France
Posted by Pavlvs on Monday, April 18, 2011 11:36 PM

I just picked up the Heller kit of La Reale de France.  It appears that the previous owner started it or at least he simply glued the hull halves together.  Most of the rest of the parts are still in the bags but the sails have had it.  The box is a bit beaten up but nothing appears to be missing.  The directions are in French but that is not a problem.  Three years of French in College will finally pay off.

Does anybody have any advice as to how to proceed.  After dry fitting, the deck appears to be too wide to fit on the hull but there is a way to fix that.  Has anybody out there any experience with this kit. and any advice you can give will be appreciated.

Thanks.
