never posted nothing in this section before, finally today i had the camera in hand and me in the same floor where the ship is placed, so finally take some decent picture of her.

Built her about 12 years ago. Honestly don't remember the single unit name (lost the box and the platename is in japanese) must be the kirishima or the haruna, but surely is a kongo class! the kit is fujimi 1/700 waterline series

till now i finished only three ships and  have some in the stash (3 battleship :bismark 1/350, hood 1/720, arizona 1/700, and two modern carriers: a nimitz class 1/800 and an admiral kuznetsov 1/720)

As now, i'm not expert in wheathering shoips but i tried to do something on.The ship is oob, only added some wire . I hope in future to post a wip of one of the ships named up and to learn more here Cool

the ship!

Also finished a .. 1/450 yamato from hasegawa (for some destiny trick i have not more of two ships kit in the same scale), need some restore from dust and i'll post her!

critics wellcomed are .. (i know one of stickers is detach, i'll fix it!)

Welcome to the forum!

The model represents Haruna.  I had forgotten about those old bridge window stickers!

Thanx too for the welcome but this my first own post on the ships section Big Smile

At the time this was a speed built that's the reason i used the sticker Crying after this never used more stickers Smile

The new Fujimi kits are leaps and bounds better than their old offering (which is crap, even in comparison to the rest of the makers in the same period). Grab a new kit and enjoy the resurgent 1/700 scale. They are worth it just for the box art! (in my opinion anyways)

i have from the same period the hood 1/720 to build agian, compared with this (and even with the1/350 bismask) have outstanding level of details Indifferent , and not waterline.

Don't like so much the waterline series i prefer to have the choise to put the rest of hull Big Smile

Actually not see more news from fujimi, thinked that the brand was out of business

Brings back fuzzy memories of my Japanese fleet when I was a kid. I had the Kongo myself. My first 1/700 was the Nachi. I remember how detailed these little guys were. I never painted any when I was a kid, but did build a light cruiser about 12 years ago and painted it. Even put it on a base with tin-foil water and gave it to my stepson for his 13th birthday.

Memories.....
