Where can one go to find plans to make your own  display case, rather than have it made for a price ?

Montani semper liberi !  Happy modeling to all and evey one of you.

I second the motion for Grandpa's Cabinets - he will make exactly what you want, and it will be quality stuff. Especially for odd- or oversized displays, he is my go-to guy for cabinets, and his costs are very reasonable.

salvine

Looking at making a nice teak or mahogany base for a 350 Burke but wanted to see if there were any good pre-made options. I like the idea of using the small wooden wedges to mount the ship on. Like most things I suppose I could find the wood and make the base and cover but in the end it probably more cost effective to just buy one.

Look at Grandpa's Cabinets.    He supports IPMS and is active on several web forums.

I think he even advertises in FSM
