Good looking build!

i've always marveled at the resemblance of the Wasa and the Batavia.

I did not choose to build the kit WASA, for having a panel saves much more elaborate and terribly hard to paint!

Vasa was designed and built by Dutchmen. It was quite common practice amongst emerging naval powers of the early-modern period to secure the services of foreign-nationals from countries with a naval reputation, or even in some cases to have the ship built overseas.
