Here,s the skinny at this point.You do need to be very careful when building the masts. and make sure EVERYTHING is lined up and held tightly in place before you put glue on there . The FOREMAST Cannot , be built OFF the FORWARD superstructure , PERIOD ! If you try to, you will break something ! The ladders for these areas are the longer ones on the "A" fret .I found out if you bend them very gently and let them rest you can then do the stairtreads slowly . BUT you will find it,s easier with this P.E. to do the stair treads from behind I did say that the hull parts went together okay . Well , that,s true to a point . If you want NO seam under the bootstripe then you will have to use filler . The hull is sturdy enough to take the sanding . I mention it now , because , I am at the point that I need to start building the other parts on the main deck. The deck seams are now officially GONE . This comes from patience and letting the material work at it,s own pace . PLUS , it,s very hot here in TEXAS right now !
