I went home for lunch and looked over the Snowberry. Decals are fine. Has them for Snowberry, Saucy and PG565 or similar.

Box did not get any smaller though.

I have one and will sell it but there are two problems:

1. Large box and shipping to Canada is mucho $$

2. It is a Matchbox version but some of the decals are damaged. I wrote Revell for Snowberry decals and it may be 8 weeks before I received them if still in stock as Snowberry has been discontinued for some time.

So there it is.

Thanks! I'll look into it. Oddly, there was one for auction on EBay, but curiously, a single bidder with only a few purchases kept upping the bid- it's now around $160- no way will I pay that. I question the validity of these bids.

I bought this kit years ago when it first came out .I have it as the AMERICAN ship and the CANADIAN one .Both are R.C.d . I have seen them from time to time in the AUSTIN ,  SAN ANTONIO hobby shops for anywhere from $99.95 to $130.00 . I believe if you can TRY online at HILL COUNTRY HOBBIES in SAN ANTONIO or KING,S HOBBY SHOP in AUSTIN . they both have web sites I know but seeing as I go there in person I don,t have the web addresses .   try googling them .       tankerbuilder

Thanks for the info. I may be down in the States this summer for a vacation- I'll check out some stores when I am there. I would hate to see what the shipping charge would be from Europe.

It's an old model, and like the above post says they are still around, but most likely in shops that don't have websites.  I did some searches online and most results were in the UK, but it was harder still to find the item in stock.  I found one that said it was: TRANSPORT MODELS for US$96.52

If you or anyone wants to really turn the kit into a museum piece, check out the after market details from: djparkins.com

regards,

Jack

They are still in fairly good supply on dealer's shelves here in the states.  Sure won't part with mine- I am slowly collecting aftermarket accessories.

I've been looking for awhile, but can't get one. Saw one in Edmonton on Kijiji, but the guy never got back to me. One in the UK on EBay, but I am being seriously over-bid, and the shipping cost is more than the ship is worth.

If anyone has one to sell, please PM me!
