Shoot, I am from Texas, I'm used to needing a, or being the, translator.

Or, maybe it was the time in New Orleans, LA, standing between a person from Quebec, and another from St. Dennis, who were having a problem of communicating in a common language with a century's worth of difference.  My creole Acadianne was not nearly as much help as my moderate German, for that matter.

I've heard tell that Brazilians and Portuguese have similar problems being "divided by a common language."

The Smithsonian museum.

Looks like Vance's 'Paper Ho 229' made the museum in 1/1 scale!

Excellent work by the staff & restoration crew to rebuild the concept aircraft for public viewing.Toast

(This is an automatic translation Portuguese-English)

The photo is my latest build , and a picture of sea extracted from the web, with the help of Microsoft Office P.P.

I present to you the model  used 1:400, for photo montage

The boat sank.  Get over it.

Man, is this a tough room.

Alexander is from Portugal and does not speak English as a first language.  From some of what he has posted, he is using at least some machine translation.  Which is often unkind to idiom and vernacular.

He's also a fellow of experience in years, so, some of the web-speak will not translate, either.

Ok, could it have been a better 'Shopped image?  Maybe.  It's not what I would have done, but, I've been using PhotoShop since 1.0 was released.  I have a life-time's experience in graphic arts, too--mechanical and computer.  I have a bias or two.

I figured that the ship was the one he was building, it looked good on the other thread. I was going to joke with him regarding the pic in a kind-hearted way, but was afraid the translation would insult 15 generations of his family! With that said, I like his work, especially the wood decks on his ships.

As far as this being a tough room, you better believe it.

WE TAKE OUR DOCTORED FAKE PICTURES SERIOUSLY !!!! Propeller

Man, I wish you guys would pay attention!  We firmly established in a previous thread that the Titanic struck an I-400 that was caught in a time warp while coming to the aid of the Bismarck after Manny sank the Hood.

Now lets not have any more of this ice berg or seagull silliness!

Photoshop? Or did you use some cheaper toy?

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Should have changed the subject to ridiculously lame picture of the Titanic.

Was this put together in MS paint? it looks like someone took a picture of a tv screen and superimposed the the Titanic.
